  • MarkCam only requests necessary system permissions to provide core functions, and all data processing is completed locally on your device: Camera permission (for taking photos and recording videos, all captured content is only stored on your device), Photo library permission (for accessing and saving photos and videos to your device's photo library, we do not upload or backup this content), Location permission (for the optional feature of adding geographic location tags to photos, location information is only used for local tagging and is not sent to any server).
  • Important note: We do not request notification push permissions and will not send any push notifications; We have no servers and cannot store any user data; We have no account system and do not require user registration or login.
  • You can manage these permissions at any time in your device's system settings. Denying permissions will only affect the use of related functions and will not affect your privacy security.

Due to MarkCam's completely localized architecture design, users need to understand the following situations during use:

  • a) All photos and videos taken are saved in your device's local storage, and we cannot access or backup this content;
  • b) Users need to manage device storage space themselves and backup important photos and videos as needed;
  • c) If you uninstall the app or change devices, we cannot help recover any data because we have no server storage;
  • d) When using MarkCam, users must bear the following risks:
    • i. Data loss that may result from device failure, damage, or loss;
    • ii. Users must choose software versions that match their installed terminal devices;
    • iii. When using MarkCam to capture, edit, or share images, users should ensure they do not infringe on others' privacy rights, portrait rights, and other legitimate rights and interests;
    • iv. Application abnormalities or data loss caused by device system issues.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information - No Data Collection, No Server

Zero Data Collection Architecture:

  • MarkCam adopts a zero data collection architecture design. All functions are implemented through local processing, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any user personal information.
  • All photo editing, filtering, and marking functions are completed locally on your device without requiring network connection.
  • We do not have user accounts, login systems, or cloud storage services.
3. How We Protect Your Personal Information - No Data Collection, No Server

  • Since we do not collect any data, there is no risk of data processing, storage, or transmission.
  • No employees can access user data because we have no servers or databases.
